I started my professional life as a biochemist in the pharmaceutical industry. With the long hours and ridiculous corporate stresses, it wasn't very fulfilling . My wife also worked long hours and would complain about her hips and shoulders being sore. I would try to massage her as best I could at night and found I was actually pretty good at it. It also helped that I really enjoyed easing her aches and pains. She encouraged me to go to school for Massage Therapy. More than ten years later, I still love what I do and many people love that I do it. I am currently Board Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork which means I'm awesome!

My wife and I, as well as our two boys, love being active. Whether it's tennis, bike riding, hiking, swimming, or kickball, we love to being outside! I also enjoy my quiet time with settling down to a good book, listening to almost any genre of music, or playing video games. (OK, the last one isn't usually very quiet when I do it.)
